**Kwintus was born in January of 2003 in the Netherlands. His registration
number is 200300040. He is out of Tanja ster preferent and Nanning. Kwintus
received a 2nd premie in the Netherlands and is a tall elegant full papered
colt with a gentle temperament and fabulous movement. Kwintus was presented
to the judges at the Hastings, MI kuer in 2005 when he was not yet 3 years old
and was awarded a 1st premie ster stallion. Kwintus is currently working in
Training Level Dressage. He completed several IFSHA shows in 2006 resulting
in a couple first place and show champion ribbons. He is an IFSHA Regional
Champion in Saddleseat Pleasure Open and Young Stallion in Hand. We decided
to travel to Las Vegas to compete in the IFSHA Nationals where Kwintus was
awarded National Champion Friesian Stallion at Liberty. What a thrill!
In 2007 Kwintus competed in two IFSHA shows in Wisconsin and came home with
several first and second place ribbons. We were unable to make it to the
Regional. He spent the summer in training to drive and ride. He went to both
the IFSHA Nationals and the FHANA World Show. At the IFSHA Nationals he was
again named the champion stallion at liberty, as well as champion young
stallion in hand and at the World Show he was Champion Jr. Stallion along
with placing in several riding classes. Kwintus was ranked 5th in the nation
with the USEF for Friesians in Saddleseat in 2007. We took a break from
showing in 2008 but have continued his training. We recently purchased a
Marathon Cart to help us keep him in shape driving him around our county
roads.
We have decided to offer Kwintus for stud for all breeds of mares. His stud
fee is $750 lfg. There is a collection fee of $225 which includes shipping.
On site AI breeding is available as well as shipped semen. His is listed at
stud on dreamhorse.com. Click on Kwintus foals to see pictures of some
of his Friesian cross foals.
After many hours of soul searching we have also decided to offer Kwintus for
sale. We have owned Kwintus since he was a 6 month old and love him dearly.
But, we have realized over the last years of having Kwintus trained and taking
him to shows, that we are neglecting many other important responsibilities.
If we cut back with Kwintus to spend more time elsewhere, Kwintus will not
reach his full potential. We will be holding him back. Kwintus is a
wonderful horse. He is not only magnificent to look at, but his kind and
willing temperament make him wonderful to work with. We feel he has unlimited
potential in both riding and driving. If you can show him what you want him
to do, he will give it his all!
Kwintus is completely sound and in great physical condition. He has never
been ill or injured. He is negative for EVA, the chestnut factor and has
great semen.
We would like to retain some breeding rights to Kwintus as part of our sale
(if he is to remain a stallion).
We have lots of still pictures of Kwintus that can be emailed or sent through
ground mail as well as a DVD of all of Kwintus' events at the IFSHA
Nationals.
