Mattie
Mattie was born in May of 2004. She is a gorgeous full papered filly out of Martha fan Breuiningswyck Ster. Her pedigree is ster or better all the way back to the beginning of her stam line, 118. Mattie's sire, Ulke 338, is a popular permanently approved stallion in the Netherlands. This summer he was featured on the cover of the Phryos due to his achievements in driving. Mattie has wonderful confirmation and movement and received very complimentary remarks from the judges at this years inspection. She is a well mannered youngster who does well for the vet, baths, farrier and has been trailered several times with her mother. She has been weaned and is doing well running with our herd of Friesians of various ages. We expect Mattie to mature to 15.3 to 16.0 hands like her mother and have lots of hair. Her mother's thick forelock is at the end of her nose! Mattie's temperament and movement makes her well suited for both riding and driving and she has the great pedigree to be an outstanding broodmare.
